Vegan Chocolate Protein Bars

Your body needs protein not only after a workout to support muscle fiber, but on a daily basis to restore and regenerate your body’s cells. Protein is a very important part of the detox process, and one that is overlooked on many detox plans. While animal products are not recommended during detoxification, you have to make sure your body is nourished with enough vegetable protein. These bars contain protein-rich ingredients, especially quinoa, which contains all of the amino-acids your body needs replenished each day. Plus there’s chocolate for a taste that isn’t generally found on a detox program.
