Vegan Granola Bars with Nuts and Chia Seeds

Who said granola is just for breakfast? If you choose the right ingredients you can have it as an energizing snack in the middle of the afternoon to keep you satisfied until dinner. Oats are a carb that slowly releases energy, and are also magnesium-rich. Chia is a smart choice to aid the cleansing process during your detox. Their soluble dietary fiber absorbs toxins, cholesterol, and excess hormones from your digestive system, and helps the colon flush them out once and for all. Chia also adds crunch to your granola bars and extra magnesium for an energy boost in the middle of your day.
